ESDO and BDS announce phase out Mercury Dental Amalgam in Bangladesh by 2022! A comprehensive action plan was prepared to achieve 2022 goals. A joint consultation took place today (27.01.2021) at ESDO Head Office in Dhaka. The whole year’s action plan and implementation of different action-oriented activities were discussed in the consultation. Action Plan includes Awareness campaign, Study, Policy advocacy, Petition to Government, etc. ESDO Secretary General Dr. Shahriar Hossain, BDS Secretary General Professor Dr. Humayan Kabir Bulbul, BDS Vice President, Dr. Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director ESDO Siddika Sultana, BDS Executive members Dr. Kazi Md. Israfil, Dr. Md. Assaduzzaman, Dr. Md. Shareeful Alam Khan, Dr. Md. Rawl Karim, Dr. Shammi Akter, Dr. Mir Nawazed Ali, Dr. Wahiduzzaman and Dr. Imtiaz were also present in the meeting. From ESDO Program Coordinator Sarah Jabeen Kristy, Program Officer Golam Rabbani, and Junior Program Associate Samina Khondaker were also present in the meeting.
