Global workshop against mercury amalgam held
A vital voice against mercury dental
amalgam was raised through a global workshop held in CRI Center Bangkok,
Thailand. The workshop was coordinated by UN Environment and World
Alliance for Mercury-Free Dentistry.
A
total of 25 countries called for the world to act on Mercury Amalgam,
said an Environment and Social Development Organization (ESDO) press
release yesterday.
The
two-day-long workshop was segmented into different sections while the
first day program was scheduled with the introduction of the
distinguished guests, welcoming remarks and overview of the Minamata
Convention provisions.
Prof
Dr Humayun Kabir Bulbul, Secretary General, Bangladesh dental Society;
Siddika Sultana, Executive Director, ESDO participated in the workshop
from Bangladesh.
